Couple Session in Marfa, TX | Tiernae + Bailey

Tiernae and Bailey are two rad souls who agreed to meet us in the middle of nowhere! We happened to all be in Marfa, Texas and attending Yeah Field Trip! We were educators there, and these two babes happened to be spending the week in Marfa, right alongside us!

We spent sunset, wandering the massive concrete structures created by Donald Judd at the Chinati Foundation. We saw abstract shapes begin to take form, as the sun set in the sky and cast harsh shadows throughout the concrete installations. We got in touch with our inner creativity and played with the contrasting dynamic of light, while dancing to music, making childish jokes and laughing our butts off. It was definitely a highlight of my Marfa trip and I’m so honored to call these two new friends.

Paige and Corey were so incredibly wonderful to work with, Bailey and I had a blast. We felt so ourselves in front of their cameras, which is sometimes difficult for me being a photographer myself. We all were laughing so hard we were crying for a majority of the time. It was such a good experience and it felt so special to be photographed in a way that truly felt like us. THEN we saw the photographs and HOLY cow. We both cried. Paige and Corey are really amazing humans, turned friends, and we would highly recommend them for all your photography needs.
