Wedding at The Villa outside Boston, MA | Kelli + Jack

Let’s just say it — sometimes shit happens! Kelli and Jack lost their original photographer due to health issues but I jumped at the opportunity to meet these two fabulous humans in the Boston area for their chilly November wedding! We were able to communicate easily while we traveled around the country with our Airstream, and once the details were finally set, we were off to meet them in New England!

It’s not easy filling in for the creative team that already had established trust with Kelli and Jack, but the two of them quite literally opened the hearts and homes for us. Jack and Kelli met in college and managed to chase each other for a couple years before finally going on their first date. Jack stole Kelli’s heart and it was a total romcom story from there on out… but the best part? The engagement, for sure. The two had been saving diligently for an incredible vacation throughout the UK, the Netherlands and Ireland. Jack couldn’t even go one day without popping the question, and he doubled down by inviting Kelli’s closest friends and family to surprise her throughout the trip. And he proposed to Kelli exactly 10-years from the day they first met. BAR HAS BEEN RAISED.

Their wedding took place on a cold fall day in Bridgewater, MA. There was a chill in the air, but it was the perfect day for a fireplace altar and a few beers on the dance floor. Kelli got ready at her own house, surrounded by her extended family and closest friends. The house was bustling with wedding vibes and everyone was busy at work. By the time the ceremony arrived, everything fell perfectly into place and the two shared their vows next to the lit hearth, and through down some dance moves fueled by their favorite beer.

It was a freaking blast and I cannot thank Kelli and Jack enough for trusting us and allowing us to feel extremely confident when taking over for another creative team’s role! It can be a hard transition but we nailed it, and I knew they were my kind of people when they played Noah Reid’s rendition of Simply The Best for their FIRST DANCE! IYKYK…. Schitt’s Creek fans are loving it!
