Couple Session in South Lake Tahoe, CA | Sommer + Paul
Oh, geez! I love these photos and I love these humans! Sommer is my cousin, and one of the best people I know. I’ve been fortunate enough to have a truly incredible family, with similar morals and attitude as mine. Which is rad, because the few times I get to see them, it feels like nothing has changed and we pick up just where we left off. When we were passing through the Reno and Lake Tahoe area, I knew we HAD to do a shoot together. Sommer is an incredibly talented photographer, as well, and she’s always looking for a reason to cheese out in front of the camera. But I can’t blame her because she’s just about the most gorgeous babe that ever did exist.
We met alongside the lake, and barely made it with the Airstream. Fair warning to others! Corey dropped me off at the top of a cliffside and had to do a 25-point-turn with the trailer, in order to get out of the parking lot. I, however, ran off with Sommer and Paul to avoid that anxiety fire pit of anxiety. Sorry, babe. But the light was perfect and their chemistry took care of the rest! Our hike was a quick and lively 400ft. downward jaunt that left me winded, and these two healthy psychos looking stunning. The way back up was embarrassing, and we’ll just skip past that part in the story.
I’m honored to photographer these two along the shoreline and cliffside of South Lake Tahoe, an area they’ve grown to love as they explore their new home in Reno. And I appreciate the delicious dinner they paid for after this shoot, and the leftovers I brought to Corey as he waiting for me down the mountain. Have I mentioned how much I love Corey? I’ll be repeating that right about now.
