Elegant Wedding at St. Patricks and 30 Rock in Manhattan, NYC | Clymene + John |

Yes! I’m so excited to be blogging this wedding because it was, by far, the most intensely gorgeous wedding I've ever been a part of. I think that little piece inside of me that still enjoys NYC was seriously tickled by this wedding. It was done the exact way any New Yorker would dream about. They did the city proud of September 15th, 2018, when they finally said “I do!”.

But back to the beginning. John and Clymene grew up in separate worlds. Clymene down south in Florida, attending dance and theatre camp, and then John up north attending ski camp with his brother and growing up in the big city. Clymene came to New York with true talent and became a necessary attribute to the New York dance culture. It was late one night after a rigorous rehearsal that Clymene gave into her cravings from some Pizza and a glass of prosecco. Girl after my own heart, right there. She sat alone at the bar and tried to keep to herself. Instead she hears from beside her, “what’s you’re story?”. John turned on his charm but Clymene is quick and strong willed. He had to work to gain her trust, but a bottle of wine and some New York pizza later, they were certain things were meant to be. They only spent a couple months as friends before calling it official. Clymene and John dated for two years before he finally asked her to stick by his side for the rest of forever. It was an easy answer for Clymene. He popped the question on a picnic blanket in Central Park and promptly took her off on an adventure through memories. They visited Strawberry Fields where they shared their first kissed and went back to that same pizza place where they first met, so they could once again share some wine and pizza.

These babes take the cake when it comes to glamour and sophistication with a healthy dose of wild creativity. On September 15th, Clymene and John provided their families and friends with the a lush display of adoration and dedication. Their wedding ceremony was held in the awe-inspiring St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Manahattan and the two of them caught the attention of every passerby in the church and on the cathedral steps. A horse drawn carriage took them around the block as guests moved from St. Patrick’s to their reception location. Atop the buildings that adorn 30 Rockefeller Plaza are some truly memorizing wedding venues included The Rainbow Room and 620 Loft & Garden. Clymene and John styled a truly romantic and cinematic 1920’s inspired reception at the Loft & Garden space, which perfectly faced the beautiful St. Patrick’s Cathedral. And for the first time in a quite a long while, the church was free of all scaffoldings and construction. It was just as lovely as Clymene and John, and shimmered in the New York sun, as did Clymene’s dress.. which was most certainly designed for a Manhattan princess. She was an absolute vision and still showed off her moves, even in that gown, when John and her first dance involved an epic lift and perfectly timed moves. They nailed it. They nailed life. They’re just the coolest. They’re reception had the best food, emotional speeches and a seriously wild dance party. What else would you expect when all of Clymene’s closest friends from her performing arts high school come prepared to get down on the dance floor? It was so enjoyable to be part of their magical day, and I’m so pleased to know they’ve begun their own family with the addition of a daughter. Doesn’t get any better than that, my friends.
