Tattooed Engagement in Brooklyn Botanical Garden | Dee + Jack |

As the temperatures find comfort in the lower numbers, I still feel the urge to create content and share moments and memories with new friends and old. Usually when the cold sets in the sky turns to grey, I find myself burrowing into blankets and spending long lengths at home, thinking about warmer days. This winter, I vow to be more creative and collaborative.. and this was just the start. Dee + Jack swore they had no good images of them together and it would be near impossible to have a successful shoot with the two goofballs. But we sought warmth in the greenhouses at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden and brought along our friends Luis and his dear wife Erica, who styled the entire shoot. Together we created some feel-good images and had a lot of laughs doing so. I find it important to continue practicing directing couples and creating authentic emotions, even in between weddings or engagements. In this case, Dee + Jack simply agreed to be the subject of the photos so they could have some new profile photos and have fun with the wild crew of us... which entails reading all the descriptions at the botanical gardens and brunching in brooklyn like the authentic basic losers that we are. And I love it.

Thank you Dee + Jack for letting me direct you and force you into giggly situations.
Thank you Erica for styling the entire shoot and being my muse.
Thank you to our husbands Corey + Luis for carrying everyone belongings and calling all the taxis.
